Annie Donovan is the Chief Executive Officer of RDF, bringing decades of leadership experience in community development, finance, and impact investing. Her career has spanned the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with a consistent focus on leveraging capital and innovation to help build strong, resilient communities.
Prior to joining RDF, Annie served as Chief Operating Officer of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), one of the country’s largest and most influential community development organizations.
Previously, Annie was CEO of CoMetrics, Inc., a mission-driven technology company providing data and benchmarking tools for values-aligned businesses. She served as Director of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund), overseeing critical federal programs supporting CDFIs nationwide. Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Capital Impact Partners, a national CDFI.
A recognized thought leader in the field, Annie has published articles and papers for the National Academy for Public Administration, the Federal Reserve Banks of San Francisco and Boston, Forbes, the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship, and the Milken Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA in Finance and has served on numerous boards throughout her career.
